Objective:
The main objective of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to promote and maintain a conducive and harmonious educational environment among students. The Students’ Grievance Cell is constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the students of the College. This is with the following objectives in mind.
- Grievance cell is formed to keep a healthy working atmosphere amongst staff, students and parents.
- This cell helps Students to record their complaints and solve their problems related to academics, resources, and personal grievances freely and frankly without any fear of victimization.
- To keep the dignity of the college high by ensuring a conflict-free atmosphere in the College by promoting good Student-student relationships and Student-teacher relationships.
- To ensure effective solutions to student grievances with an impartial and fair approach.
- To Advise Students of the College to respect each other and be patient whenever any occasion of conflict arises.
- To advise all the students to refrain from stirring up students against other students, teachers, and College administration.
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal. Ragging Complaints will be handled as per ragging rules.
- Woman Harassment complaints will be handled as per government guidelines by respective sections.
Students may approach the cell to voice their grievances regarding academic matters, health services, library, and other services. Any form of discontent or dissatisfaction on the part of the students can be informed to the cell. The Grievance cell also looks into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the coordinator or member of the Students’ Grievance cell. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Coordinator of the Students’ Grievance Cell.
The function of the Grievance Cell:
- Complaint Boxes have been installed on the College campus in which the students, who want to remain anonymous, can put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the academics/administration in the College.
- The person concerned can personally approach any member of the Cell and can send an email or write an application and submit it to Cell Coordinator for grievances of any sort.
- The cases will be attended to promptly on receipt of grievances from the students.
- The cell will review all cases and will act formally accordingly as per the Management policy.
- The cell will report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
Scope:
The Grievance Redressal Committee deals with Grievances received in writing from students about any of the following matters:
- Academic matters: Related to use of duplicate mark sheets (DMC), transfer certificates, conduct certificates, and other examination-related matters.
- Financial matters: – Related to dues and payments for various items from fee, library, hostels, etc.
- Library matters: – Issue and return of books, syllabus and university question papers.
- Accommodation matters: – Related to hostels.
- Other matters: – Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, preparation of food, victimization by teachers, etc.
Online Students Grievance Redressal System:
The
e-Samadhaan is a new initiative taken by the University Grants Commission that facilitates students or complainants to lodge grievances, send reminders, and view the status of actions taken about their grievances. The basic aim of the portal is to ensure transparency in admissions, prevent unfair practices in higher educational institutions, and provide a mechanism for the redressal of their grievances.
The system also facilitates the universities/colleges to search and browse grievances lodged against them and post action taken against the complaints on the portal as well as contact the complainant directly through e-mail, phone, or by post.
GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL POLICY
The College has a Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee. The functions of the Committee are to look into the complaints lodged by any student and judge their merit. The Grievance Redressal Committee is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee members in person. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be sent in writing. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the officer-in-charge of the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee or the Principal.

Objective:
The objective of the Grievance Redressal Committee is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute. A Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:
- Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strike free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-student relationships and Student-teacher relationships etc.
- Encouraging the Students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
- Suggestion/complaint Boxes have been installed in front of the Administrative Block in which the students, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
- Advising Students of the College to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises. Advising all the Students to refrain from inciting students against other students, teachers, and College administration.
- Advising all staff to be affectionate to the students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
Responsibilities:
Provide an avenue for the aggrieved students to redress their grievances to have a healthy atmosphere among students at the Institute.
- Comply with the UGC, CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation), and affiliating University of Rajasthan Regulations.
- Discuss and resolve the grievances, if any received in writing from the concerned students.
Procedure:
The setting of the Grievance Redressal Committee for students will be widely published. The students may feel free to put up a grievance and drop it in boxes placed at conspicuous locations.
MECHENISM OF REDRESSAL
The complaint made by the students by any means is presented to the Student Grievance and Anti-Ragging committee. After verifying the complaint, the department asks for fast redressal or redressal by sending it to the department related to the complaint. After it, the students are informed about the redressal of the complaint.
