About Shri Bhawani Niketan P.G. College
Shri Bhawani Niketan College began its glorious journey as an under graduate college from July 1997, after the approval of Govt. of Rajasthan with faculties of arts and commerce. At present, the students are benefitted with all the three faculties arts, commerce and science. We are also running PG Courses in Geography, Pol. Science, History, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and ABST. The students of our college, got gold medals in the sport of boxing and archery. One of our student Dasrath Singh Parihar was a proud member of the basket ball team of Rajasthan University, who won the gold medal in the interuniversity tournament. Mr. Ranjan one of our player was declared Mr. Rajasthan University in Body Building. Ghanshyam Singh & Manvinder Singh won bronge medal in All India interuniversity Roll Ball tournament in Oct, 2017. Mahipal Singh Rajawat, Ashish Singh, Devendra Singh & Chanchal Prajapati participated in all india inter-university Rugbey tournament. Shakti Singh & bhagwan Singh participated in all India intner university Net Ball tournament. Surender Kumar, Narendra Chaoudhary & Pradeep Gaur participated in all india university american football tournament. Gurvender Singh & Ghanshyam Singh participated in west zone hand ball tournament. Sanjay Singh, Jitendra Yadav, Pintu Badarwal & Karanveer singh participated in west zone kabaddi tournament. Vishnu Singh & Pushpander singh Shekhawat participated in west zone football tournament. Puneet Sharma participated in all india swimming tournament.
In the coming session 2017-18 we have received the permission of Rajasthan University for Msc. Physics & Maths Courses. To develop the quality of education, the college has made their Physics, Maths, Zoology, Botany & Chemistry depts. more efficient by raising better laboratories, purchasing of new equipments and recent books. Better and hygienic toilets have been constructed for women. In the beginning session of 2017-18, to create awareness amongst our students an LCD presentation and armed exhibition was organised by Indian Army regarding career opportunities in army. we organized inter-collegiated weight lifting & best physique, football and netball tournaments.
NCC
- Our college promote and motivate students to join NCC. It is a pride moment to announce that one company (124 Cadets) of NCC Wing is getting trained at our college. Currently, 35 cadets in armed, 10 in Naval and 5 cadets in Air wing have been selected through open NCC Programme.
- ‘Van Mahotsav’ was gloriously celebrated by NCC directorate in our college. On this occasion plants were planted by group commander Col. Anand Singh Rathore, Col. Negi, Col.Sukhveer Singh and Commanding Officer Col. V.D. Chand and other dignitaries.
- Our NCC Officer Cap. Virendra Singh Rathore was honoured by DDG Commendation on NCC Day, 23rd Nov, 2017.
- An exhibition along with seminar on weapons was organised in our college by Madras Regiment on July, 2017 to aware our students of various job opportunities in army.
- Our cadet Govind Singh Parihar participated in a youth programme conducted at Kazakistan.
- 4 cadets from our college participated in Mavlangar Rifle shooting competition held at Ahmedabad.
- In the month of July, 2017, our students participated in various activities such as group dance, group song, NIAP, Volley Ball and debate competition in the NIC camp at Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. In which they got 1st position in group and single dance competition. Cadet Karan Singh Shekhawat won gold medal in debate competition, silver medal in NIAP singing competition.
- Our cadet under officer Narendra Singh was announced the best cadet in CATC camp held at churu, Rajasthan.
- Cadet Anoop Kumar was selected for the youth exchange programme at Russia.
- Our college NCC cadets counted amongst the best NCC cadets. Times to time our cadets are selected on various dignitary positions in police, army and security officers in multinational companies. Recently our cadet Naveen Shekhawat, Yogendra Singh, Bhanupratap Singh have been selected in army, Hukum Singh was selected as a security officer in five star hotel, Praveen Vishu, Bhairu Singh and Jitendra Singh in Adani Group.
Games
- Our college gymnast team participated in inter collegiate gymnast competition held at University of Rajasthan and won second position. Two students Sidhant Singh Shekhawat and Kana Ram Kumawat were selected in Rajasthan University gymnast team and also heading towards the participation in all India Inter University Championship.
- Our college cricket team participated in inter-collegiate cricket championship held in Sept. 2017 and meticulously entered into the semi-finals. Student Gajraj Singh Nathawat coined a place as the captain of Rajasthan University cricket team.
- Our basket ball player Dasrath Singh represented Rajasthan University basket ball team at all India University meet. The team won gold medal under his leadership .
- Our student Rajdeep Shekhawat represented Rajasthan University in all India archery meet and won the gold medal, he also won bronze medal at all India inter university meet.
- Our student Pritam Singh Shekhawat was selected in Rajasthan Unviersity hand-ball team.
- Our badminton player Jasanth Singh Tanwar coined a place in Rajasthan University badminton team.
- In football, Ajeet singh Shekhawat was selected in the RU football team.
- In boxing our student Sanjay Kumar got gold medal in inter-collegiate boxing champion ship and further was selected for inter university meet.
- Rajasthan University intercolligiate Hand Wall tournament was organised by our college on 8th and 9th January 2016 in the college campus.
NSS
- An inter collegiate debate competition was organised in Feb, 2017.
- On the occasion of NSS Day our Principal Dr. A N Sharma addressed all the registered social workers about the duties and agenda of NSS.
- A blood donation camp was organised on blood donation day ni Oct, 2017.
- On the occasion of Aids day, a three day awareness camp was organised. Dr. Sapna Sharma participated in the camp and facilitated students with her speech. Many competition like Debate, Quiz, Slogan, Poster and short plays too were organised. Students were motivated for such activities and to encourage them awards were also given.
- Human rights day was celebrated in Dec, 2017 on this occasion Dr. Dasrath Singh delivered a speech on fundamental rights.
- We are running two units of 100 each in session 2017-18
- Various activities eg. international peace day, NSS day, world blood donation day, national non violence day, national unitiy day, special camps of 7 days & swachhata Shram Dan week etc.. work organized in session 2017-18.
Rover Scouting
- Our college has been a major centre for rover scouting activities since 1997. Certificate of merit was awarded to the scouting unit of this college by Vice President of India on 2 Sept, 2011.
- Our rover participated in rover ranger camp held on 25th to 30th Dec, 2013.
- Students were encouraged motivated by Dr. Virendra Goyal to keep water point for birds.
- A cleaniness expedition was also conducted by our rovers at hanuman temple near sanganeri gate.
- Our rovers gave their services at kanvatiya hospital for eyes treatment.
- Rovers paid their services at Govind Devji Temple on the occasion of Janmashtami.
- A rally was organised by rovers against corruption held on 11 Sept, 2016.
- On the occasion of Independence Day 15th Aug, 2016, our rovers saluted our honourable chief guest Rajpal Singh Shekhawat.
- A successful participation was done by our rovers in 115 rovers (Praveen) camp held on 28 Sept. To 1st Oct, 2016. Also rovers have given their services at the blood donation camp organised by Rajput Sabha Bhawan.
- In session 2017-18 rover scout participated in mountnearing, guard of honour on independance day, served patient in SMS hospital, participated in rashtriya swachhata abhiyan jumburi, rally for rivar and distributed fruits to prisners in jail & leprosy patient.
Inauguration of student union
Shri Megh Raj Singh Royal Chairmen Rajput Vikas Parishad inaugrated the office of student union. Interesting cultural programmes were also organized on this occasion.
National Conference on the "Pessonality and working of Late Mirza Raja Mansingh Amer" was organized on 6th Dec. 2017. The chief guest was Rao Rajendra Singh Dy. Speaker Rajasthan Vidhansabha.
